About Me
Lazy Dog is the tragic result of a secret genetic experiment conducted by the British government in 1969. The plan was to inject newborn babies with the DNA of domestic animals in order to make the British people more docile, loyal and to have an unquestioning trust in their masters.
Unfortunately, in Lazy Dog's case, they used the DNA from a basset hound and he spent the first 32 years of his life curled up on the rug in front of the fire.
In early 2001 Lazy Dog was introduced to the Maxis game The Sims. It was hoped that he would begin to mimic the actions of the characters in the game, i.e. getting a job, developing relationships etc. By leaving 'free will' turned on it was even hoped that he may come to realise that drinking espresso when your bladder motive is almost completely in the red is probably a bad idea.
Whilst Lazy Dog initially took to the game like a duck to quantum physics, he has developed an interest in skinning. He submitted his first skin to TSR in April 2001 and opened his own site - http://skinsbythedog.com - in January 2002. For the first three months he kept the site updated but then, in March, he suffered a regrettable relapse and went back to sleeping by the fire and trying to scratch his ears with his feet.
Lazy Dog has recently been coaxed back to the computer with the promise of a nice juicy bone and some doggy chocs and it is hoped that he may soon be ready for reintegration into normal society. If only he can be persuaded to stop licking his genitals.
